German Ambassador Visits Permanent Exhibition of Qom's Production and Export Capabilities

The new German ambassador to Iran visited the Qom Chamber of Commerce, exploring the permanent exhibition of the province's production and export capabilities and learning about the industrial units' key products.

According to the Public Relations Office of the Qom Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture, Axel Dietmann, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Iran, visited various sections of the permanent exhibition showcasing Qom's production and export capabilities during his trip to Qom. He was informed about the diversity of products, the activities of economic enterprises, and the province's industrial capacity for both domestic and export markets. This visit aimed to introduce Qom's economic potential and familiarize the German ambassador with the province's capabilities across various production, industrial, and service sectors. Explanations were provided regarding the showcased products, the operational fields of production units, target markets, and the potential for developing trade collaborations. Dietmann noted the diversity of products produced in Qom, stating: "Before attending this exhibition, I did not have a clear understanding of the breadth and variety of Qom's productions; witnessing this wide range of products was impressive and interesting to me, demonstrating that diverse production capacities have developed in this province." He added: "The volume and diversity of products presented at the exhibition indicate that a significant portion of the consumer needs of Qom's citizens is met by the producers of this province, and Qom possesses considerable production capabilities in certain areas." During this visit, products from the textile, home appliance, metal industries, medical equipment, and pharmaceutical sectors attracted the German ambassador's attention more than others. The permanent exhibition of production and export capabilities of the province was inaugurated in Azar 1403 at the Qom Chamber of Commerce and has hosted over 100 domestic and foreign trade delegations to date.
